Riles Davies, also known as Arrdee, a British rapper, has said that Nigerian musician Davido had no idea he was arranging a surprise performance on stage with him during his concert at the O2 Arena.
Davido recently wowed the people of London with thrilling performances alongside some of the music industry’s biggest names. Stonebwoy, Darko Vibes, Adenkule Gold, Patoranking, and other top-tier stars took the stage with the Nigerian icon to perform.
Davido is one of the few African stars to ever sell out a show at London’s O2 Arena, which has a capacity of 20,000 people.
In an interview, he stated that Davido’s excitement once he walked on stage was due to the fact that he had no idea he would be performing on stage with him.
The “Oliver Twist” singer claimed that Davido would have contacted him if he wanted to perform with him, but he admires the tremendous reaction he received when he made that surprise visit on stage.
Arrdee admitted that he couldn’t hear what song was being played at the time, but the crowd went crazy when he walked on stage. He also described his time with the Nigerian superstar at the O2 Arena as a surreal experience.
