David Beckham Joins The Malaria Must Die So Millions Can Live Campaign

In a bid to end the outbreak of Malaria worldwide, a lot of celebrities and brands have joined in the worldwide campaign. The newest member to join this campaign is England’s ex-football living legend, David Beckham.
The world is coming together with a campaign tagged “Malaria Must Die So Millions Can Live” launched on the web and online on social media. The campaign which is backed by a coalition of global health and development organizations, including Malaria No More and a number of celebrities is currently trending on social media and has kicked off with a video featuring ex-footballer David Beckham, showing him in a glass box “under attack” by a swarm of mosquitoes.

The campaign initially targets Commonwealth countries, where half of the malaria deaths are on the rise each year and will expand after this year’s Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting which takes place in London in April.

Every minute of the day, a child dies from malaria globally and progress on ending the disease is on the low but with this global campaign, it seems malaria outbreak would soon be a thing of the past.

We urge everyone to join in the campaign to end malaria today so that we all can live.
