Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has equaled Davido’s record for the highest charting African album on the Apple Music United States chart.

Davido established the record with his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ which debuted at No. 2 earlier this year.
On Saturday, Burna Boy’s latest album, ‘I Told Them,’ debuted at No. 2 on the US Apple Music list, tying Davido’s ‘Timeless’ as the highest-peaking African project in the platform’s history.
Similarly, after debuting at number 2, ‘I Told Them’ became the highest-peaking African project in the European Apple Music Album chart’s history.
To attain the new feat, Burna Boy beat the mark he set with his 2022 album, ‘Love, Damini,’ which peaked at number three.
