Avatar: The Way of Water, the follow-up to James Cameron’s highest-grossing film ever, is currently on track to earn $17 million on Thursday night from showings that started at 3 PM.
As always, these numbers are subject to change. Avatar: The Way of Water is longer than The Batman, clocking in at 3 hours and 12 minutes.
On Rotten Tomatoes, critics have given Avatar: The Way of Water an 80% fresh rating, just shy of the 82% they gave the original Avatar from 2009.
