Alleged Naira abuse: Davido reacts to Cubana Chief Priest’s bail

Singer Davido has reacted to socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, being given N10 million bail after pleading not guilty to suspected naira abuse.

According to the report, Cubana Chief Priest, who was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a three-count charge of Naira abuse, was granted bail for N10 million with two sureties in the same amount after pleading not guilty.

Shortly after being granted bail, the socialite took to Instagram to thank his friends and admirers for their concerns.

He noted that he was humbled by the trial while adding that it has confirmed that he isn’t “small.”

Reacting to his post via the comment section, Davido said it was not possible for Cubana Chief Priest to be jailed, stressing that he could not bear not seeing him for six months.

He wrote, “I no go see u for 6 months ke… Never.”

Recall that Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos, last Friday, sentenced popular crossdresser, Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine after he was convicted of Naira mutilation
