Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, a Nigerian Afrobeat legend, has finally released his first official single of the year. The new song, “Bad To Me,” was brilliantly written and produced by the iconic singer.

‘Bad To Me,’ Wizkid’s most recent song, was released at midnight. Wizkid and the talented music producer PJ2 collaborated on the song with Amapiano influences. The song’s verse, which is extremely catchy and is spiked with a strong string instrumental, sets the tone for the remarkable journey that listeners will experience while listening to it.

Wizkid has never restricted himself to one genre. He never stops experimenting with different musical genres, mixing various rhythms to create remarkable sounds that complement his enviable vocals.

On the song “Bad To Me,” Wizkid broadened his position to further his musical prowess and demonstrated why he is currently the most influential Afrobeats musician on the planet.

Although the song didn’t sound entirely new, his production team could have sampled various elements and styles from popular sounds and carefully blended them with Wizkid’s to create ‘Bad To Me.’

The arrangements of “Bad To Me” are exceptional, including the drum rolls, lyrics, chorus, and post-chorus. The song slaps hard, and the melodies and harmonies are praiseworthy.

‘Bad To Me’ is Wizkid’s first song since the deluxe edition of ‘Made In Lagos’ was released in 2021. Well, it was worth the wait.
