Nollywood veteran actor and broadcaster, Patrick Doyle has unveiled his new wife, Fumilayo months after he and his actress ex-wife, Ireti Doyle dropped the bombshell that that they were divorced.
In celebration of women’s day, the filmmaker, 61, sized the opportunity to show off his new heartthrob and also sing praises to her for making him the ‘happiest man ever’; not minding the speculations that his new marriage isn’t rosy as he portrays.
On his Facebook page, he appreciated the four women in his life who have acted in their capacity towards him.
He appreciated his late mother, his late elder sisters and his late wife whom he to sickle cell anaemia. According to him, he has never been happier as his wife has been his new mother, friend and partner.
He wrote:
““On Mother’s Day we are expected to pay tribute to our mothers and all women who have played maternal roles in our lives. In my case the 4 women who had acted in that capacity towards me are my late mother Angela Bassey Doyle, my late elder sisters Victoria Doyle, and Ayodeji Alakija as well as my late wife Rosemond Doyle. Today to the glory of God this young lady has taken over that role & truth be told, I have never been happier in all my life. Please, join me in thanking God for my new mother, friend & partner for life Oluwafunmilayo”.
The news of Patrick Doyle and his ex-wife, Ireti Doyle separation flooded the internet in January 2023. Words had it that the veteran married a new wife after a blogger shared a picture of his registry with his new wife as they officially tie the knot.
Things began to look rocky in 2017 when fans of the former couple first pointed out that they hardly appear together in public anymore.
They were married for eighteen years before they parted ways.
