Etro Pre-fall 2023 Collection were extremely unique as creative director, Marco de Vincenzo gave his customers a unique touch to the world of fashion.

In an old wooden library where De Vincenzo spends time researching and where he had the lookbook photographed, he discovered a scrap of a Gobelin furnishing fabric.
This discovery gave the collection its start. The velvet-woven fabric’s jacquard patterns were enlarged into almost kinetic macro renditions or shrunk into lilliputian micro motifs, and then translated into the clean silhouettes De Vincenzo prefers: a ’70s-inspired three-piece slim pantsuit, a sharp-cut short little coat, and a high-collared, capped-sleeved, adorable A-line minidress.

A traditional trench coat with matching bell bottoms and a huge shopping bag from the designer’s accessories line—which he’s anxious to expand—was a standout of the allover-patterned collection.
