The actor, who claimed to be “partially involved” in politics, described being beaten by thugs while campaigning for his preferred candidate.

Vanguard TV recently featured him in an interview.

“Nigerian politics,” Okafor joked. I was only partially involved. The only thing that was different was that there were some instances of thuggery.

“When we went to campaign, I got slapped by people I didn’t even know.” But there was a lot to slap because it meant nothing to me.

“I got three or four free slaps from other boys. ‘Why did you come here? [They inquired]Before I answer that, gbosa! “You won’t even like the sound of the slap because the people slapping are idiots because their slap is not human,” he remembered.

On his long absence from the industry, Mr Ibu stated that his comeback film was already in the works, but that production was halted due to the country’s current situation.
