Versace Appoints K-pop Sensation Ningning as Brand Ambassador

Versace’s decision to appoint K-pop sensation Ningning as their brand ambassador reflects the brand’s astute understanding of the evolving global fashion and cultural landscape. Amidst the rising popularity and influence of K-pop globally, Versace strategically taps into this phenomenon by aligning itself with one of its brightest stars.

Ningning, being a highly talented and influential member of SM Entertainment’s popular girl group aespa, brings not only her vibrant persona but also a large and devoted fan base that spans across diverse demographics.

The singer has been sporting Versace at events lately. In May of last year, she wore a black and white gown from Atelier Versace at the Cannes Film Festival. She attended the Versace Icons event in Shanghai in October of last year, donning a black Crystal Medusa ’95 minidress. A month later, at the W Korea 18th “Love Your W” Breast Cancer Awareness charity event in Seoul, Ningning was once more poured into a black Versace dress that hugged her figure.

Other global brand ambassadors include Chris Lee, who fronts the Versace Icons campaign with Anne Hathaway; Hyunjin, appearing in the brand’s holiday 2023 campaign unveiled in November, and Rosy Zhao, who was named to the role in November.
