Happening in Lagos, a group of young people are having an intense learning session at the Urban Fashion Lab.
Nigeria’s fashion industry is large and still largely untapped. It is inarguable that Nigerians have a strong sense of fashion and thus patronize tailors and designers a lot. While there is an abundance of skilled tailors and fashion designers, most of them work on a small scale to produce for a handful of clients.
The class size is small which makes it perfect because every participant can maximize the learning opportunity and not get lost in the crowd. The instructors can engage every participant most effectively.
The aim of the Head of Production training is to equip these ones to be able to supervise a team, manage the order and production of ready to wear clothes like uniforms and to scale up their business.
