Nigerian singer-turned-blogger, Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle better known as Tunde Ednut has raised the banner of joy after his friend and self-acclaimed controversial critic and activist, Vincent Martins Otse better known as Verydarkman gained freedom. ‘
Recall that the Nigerian Police Force arrested Verydarkman on 22nd March on allegations of cyberbullying and threat to the life of Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh.
However, his arrest occurred following a heated online altercation between Verydarkman and controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky.
The social media activist was initially slated to spend only three days in detention. However, due to the demanding bail conditions and the influential forces involved in his arrest, he ended up spending additional days in custody.
Verydarkman was released on Easter Sunday, 31st March 2024.

Taking to his Instagram page to celebrate Verydarkman’s release, Tunde welcomed him back and acknowledged the unseen forces at play. While not explicitly naming individuals, he hinted at influential male figures behind the scenes, emphasizing their strength and support.
“Don’t play!!! Welcome back home. Men dey behind the scene. You enter, dem go comot you. Strong men dey!! Make I no mention too many names. You can know some of them from my previous post”.
