Former Mavins artiste and close friend of D’banj, Tiwa Savage reacts to the rape allegations levelled against her colleague D’banj and the recent intimidation and oppressing antics from him to against his rape accuser.
Tiwa Savage in her tweet said she was heart-broken but won’t pick sides with her colleague D’banj saying she stands strong with all victims of sexual abuse and the perpetrators of such hideous crimes, irrespective of who it might be if found guilty must be punished to the full extent of the law.
D’banj who has been dragged all day across all social media platform for intimidating and oppressing his rape accuser Ms Seyitan Babatayo, in trying to force her to recant her earlier statement of accusing him of raping her.
D’banj is accused of going to an all-time after his latest song #StressFree was promoted on Ms Seyitan’s Twitter page. D’banj and his manager have also both being accused of kidnapping Ms Seyitan. 
Tiwa Savage wrote;
I hear you all and even though this is heartbreaking for me, my view is still the same. I stand strong with the victims of all sexual abuse so I say this: 1. Victims should always speak out n speak their truth 2. those found guilty must be punished to d full extent of the law.
