Nigerian businessman and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, has passionately appealed to Nigerian blogs to stop promoting youths who are disrespecting elders on social media.
His appeal comes hours after controversial activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM) made stunning revelation about celebrities who attended Davido’s wedding. He noted that sneaked into the party and specifically mentioned Iyabo Ojo, Paulo’s girlfriend, alleging she wasn’t invited to the main wedding but only to the after-party.
Paulo, angered by VeryDarkMan’s statement, defended his partner, remarking that those who cursed VDM were no longer alive. He expressed pity for the activist’s situation, describing the remainder of his life as miserable.
In response, VDM bluntly advised Paulo to stay out of his issues with Iyabo.
Paulo then fired back, challenging Davido and others to choose between him and VDM.
Weighing in on the matter, Obi Cubana urged blogs to stop giving visibility to youths who insult their elders. He criticized the blogs for enabling such behavior, emphasizing that we cannot continue to support such nonsense.
He wrote;
“Dear blogs, pls stop giving visibility to youth insulting elders!
You enable them!
We can’t continue to enable rubbish!!
Stop, pls!!”.
