Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro has voiced her concern about the country’s high inflation rate and its impact on market prices.
During a Question and Answer session with Pulse, the actress revealed that due to inflation, N1 million wouldn’t last her more than a day.
Actress Osas Ighodaro is not alone in lamenting the high expenses and inflation in the country. Celebrities like Mofe Duncan, Comedian Layi Wasabi, and many others have echoed similar sentiments recently.
The host asked: “How long will it take you to spend N1 million in this economy?”
Ighodaro replied: “How many seconds? You said seconds? Things are expensive. Maybe a day depending on what I am getting.”
Glamsqaud recalls that the mother of one in an interview on Arise TV, said her mother’s passing in 2020 caused a profound shift within her. This, made her embrace her true self and live life to the fullest.
The mother of one admitted that she once struggled with self-doubt and people-pleasing, but her mother’s legacy inspired her to prioritize self-expression and self-love.
She further said she realized that her mother’s selflessness and generosity had come at the cost of her well-being and stated that she was determined not to follow in her footsteps.
