'One good turn deserves another' - Cubana Chief Priest endorses Governor Sanwo-Olu's re-election Bid

Nigerian celebrity barman, Pascal Chibuike better known as Cubana Chief Priest has endorsed the re-election of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Cubana Chief Priest shared a picture of Governor Sanwo-Olu and listed out his reasons for his re-election.

The socialite stated that Governor Sanwo-Olu should be re-elected based on his positive actions, and acknowledged that nobody is flawless. He specifically cited the governor’s response to the 2020 coronavirus outbreak, during which he acted as a national president to guarantee the safety of all citizens.

In addition, the chief priest, encouraged Lagos residents to cast their votes in support of the governor’s completion of ongoing projects throughout the state. He also emphasized that his Igbo tribe felt secure under Sanwo-Olu’s leadership.

He wrote:

It is worth noting that Cubana Chief Priest’s endorsement of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s bid for a second term comes in the face of social media backlash against the governor. Many youths in the state have pledged not to vote for him again, as they continue to uncover shortcomings in his administration.

These youths have declared that they will not support Sanwo-Olu until he discloses who authorized the Nigerian armed forces to attack peaceful End SARS protesters at Lekki Toll-Gate on the evening of October 20, 2020, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.
