Olamide, Davido, Omawumi others mourn Mohbad's untimely death

As the sad news of singer, Mohbad’s untimely passing continues to send shockwaves through the heart of many, celebrities have taken to various social media platforms to mourn.

Glamsquad Magazine reported a few minutes ago that the 27-year-old singer born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba passed away.

According to Entertainment journalist, Ovie Mohbad passed away on 12th September.

Olamide shared a picture of Mohbad with the caption “R.I.P Young Champ”.

Davido on his path simply shared a picture of the deceased with a candle

Omawumi on her path share a candle and a video of herself and Mohbad when they met. Captioning her post, she wrote

“Ahhhhhhhhh! This life no balance ooooo! Mobahd!!! Na lie!”

OAP Do2dtun shared a picture of the last time he was with Mohbad at an event in Ikorodu. He wrote:

“Few days ago, we killed a show together with smiles and laughter. Today, we are mourning. Mohbad damn!!!! I can’t believe this”.

Prior to his passing, Bella Shmurda, singer and colleague of Mohbad, shared a harrowing account of the deceased’s struggle with suicidal thoughts.

Bella also delved into Mohbad’s challenges with his record label, Marlians, owned by Naira Marley, and credited Mohbad’s girlfriend with saving him from that dark place.

Bella also criticized Naira Marley and his label for portraying a facade of harmony between Mohbad and the management.

It’s worth noting that Mohbad departed from Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” in 2022.
