Afrobeats singer, Davido has expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to making his wedding with Chioma a magical and memorable event.

It is no longer news that the superstar singer tied the knot with the love of his life, Chioma Rowland, on Tuesday, June 25th. His spectacular wedding captivated Lagos and the entire nation, drawing in high-profile figures and celebrities.

Following the success of the wedding, Davido expressed his gratitude on his Instagram story, thanking Nigerians for making their day magical. He also declared that love triumphed between him and Chioma.

He tweeted,

“Thank you all for making our day a magical one! We really appreciate and we love you. LOVE WON”.

At his wedding after-party, Davido showered Chioma with praises; he said she is an excellent cook and wonderful in bed. He highlighted that Chioma’s soup is uniquely delicious and remarked that there is nothing she can’t do.

While honouring Chioma’s parents, Davido outlined his plans for his wife, promising her a lifetime of assurance. He vowed to protect, respect, and support her, declaring his love for her parents and noting that their wedding day was the happiest day of his life.

True to his word, he gifted Chioma a brand-new SUV and a bouquet of roses at their wedding venue as a gesture of his commitment.

There is no doubt that Chioma deserves all the accolades and everything she is receiving now, as her love story with Davido has endured numerous challenges.

The couple faced a devastating loss when their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, passed away in October 2022, just days after celebrating his 3rd birthday, which undoubtedly shook their relationship.

Despite this tragedy, Davido secretly married Chioma in a court wedding held at his father’s house later that same year. In January 2023, Davido formally completed the traditional bride price (Umunna) at Ezeala Odu, Imo state.
