Big Brother Naija former housemate, Nina Ivy has criticized those attacking Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja and her husband, Ugo Nwoke following reports that he is a serial cheat and divorcee.
Glamsquad recalls that on Thursday, 27th June, Sharon and Ugo had their traditional wedding in Abuja with family, friends, and colleagues in attendance. On Saturday, 29th June, the couple also had lavish white wedding followed by a glamorous reception.
However, Instead of being congratulated, she was being dragged for tieing the knot with Ugo who had three previous failed marriages.
This sparked controversy as people began to question the likelihood of Sharon’s first marriage lasting, given her husband’s history of leaving his wives.
Defending the couple, Nina Ivy emphasized that people can have multiple marriages before finding happiness, and Sharon and her husband seem happy together.
She clarified that the man in question was single before engaging and marrying Sharon. Nina urged the public to respect their marriage and refrain from judging the actress’s husband based on his past.
She wrote
“It’s how everyone is so interested in Sharon’s marriage for me. Y’all gotta learn to solve ur generational/family problems before jumping on other people’s lives. Leave them alone.
She is married y’all need respect that and respect her decision. People get married multiple times before finding peace of mind. They seem very happy together, he was 💯 single before marrying her, he is doing very well for himself W2 or 1099 he is very good. He isn’t owing any of you. Let people be please”.
