Katie Holmes’s new style direction in 2019 earned her an increased level of media attention and saw her declared an unsung style hero. Over the course of a few months, she gave us street style inspiration in spades – case in point: she drafted insider label Kassl Editions into her newly-honed wardrobe of elevated daywear.
And it seems Holmes’s style streak is set to continue in 2020. For the Whitney Museum Art Party in New York City this week, she paired luxe Carolina Herrera separates – an off-the-shoulder crop top with exaggerated sleeves and matching silk trousers – for a sophisticated, all-black look.
The actor wore her hair pulled into a sleek pony, added black knotted mules, and a Tod’s bag dangled from her wrist.
