Jennifer Aniston speaks on finding love ‘not necessarily in the industry’

Jennifer Aniston, a popular Hollywood actress, says she wishes her next relationship is somebody not necessarily from the entertainment industry.

Aniston, who was formerly married to fellow actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, told People in June that she has no desire to be on a dating app just because of a relationship.

“I’m going to just stick to the normal ways of dating,” she said.

“Having someone ask you out. That’s the way I would prefer it.”

But in a new interview with People TV on Tuesday, September 14, “The Morning Show” star talked about whether relationships between non-celebs and celebs could work.

“Absolutely. I mean, it’s happened,” Aniston said. “That’s what I’m sort of hoping for is not necessarily somebody in the industry itself.”

She also laughed off dating rumors between herself and her ‘Friends’ co-star, David Schwimmer, due to their chemistry in the series.

“That was bizarre. I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That’s my brother,” Aniston said.

“But I understand it, though. It just shows you how hopeful people are for fantasies, for dreams to come true.”

The scuttlebutt circulated about the pair after both actors confirmed they had crushes on each other while working together on the popular sitcom, which ran for 10 seasons ending in 2004. Their characters, Rachel Green and Ross Gellar, also dated on the show.

“The first season, I had a major crush on Jen,” Schwimmer admitted during the HBOMax reunion special, which premiered in May. “At some point we were both crushing hard on each other — but it was like two ships passing [in the night], because one of us was always in a relationship.”

“So we just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel,” Aniston added.
