The Canadian rapper bet $400k on the fight and would have pocketed a whopping $1.2 million if Paul had won by knockout, but he lost on points to Fury.
During a post-fight press conference, Paul was informed of his friend’s massive wager.
‘F***! Drake is to blame!’ Paul exclaimed, laughing. ‘Bro, Drake, why did you do this to me? No, it’s entirely my fault. 400,000 is nothing to him; he has won much more money betting on me in the past. He’s probably even right now. Sorry Drake, I’ll get that W in the rematch.’
