Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known as Phyno, a Nigerian rapper, has refuted claims made by one of his fans that he is a sickle cell patient, glamsquad reports.

His fan had taken to Twitter to express her admiration for him. According to the fan, she fell in love with the rapper after learning he had sickle cell disease.
“Since learning Phyno has sickle cell, my love has tripled; I pray God grants him the strength to fight.” a fan wrote

Phyno responded by dismissing the claim but offering his heartfelt prayers to those suffering from the illness.
”Lol . No, I don’t have sickle cell disease. “Love to everyone who is fighting it, though.”
