According to Catholic priest Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, if Jesus came into the world solely to heal sick people, he failed miserably, glamsquad reports.

Ugwu criticized claims that Jesus came into the world to perform miracles and heal the sick in a Facebook post. He claimed that all those who were healed by Jesus became ill again, and that Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead, died again.
He contended that healings or miracles as we know them today were never the primary reason for Jesus’ arrival in the world. He stated that the main message of Jesus at the time was salvation, and that all of Jesus’ miracles and healings were to point people to salvation.

“The harsh reality, which you may not want to hear, is that if Jesus came into our world solely to heal sick people, he failed miserably.
Do you understand why?
Even during his lifetime, he did not cure every sick person. He could have simply removed the disease, but he did not. We’ll still have sick people with us until tomorrow. And if you’re reading this, you’ll get sick at some point.
Healings or miracles in the modern sense were never his primary reason for entering our world.
In fact, those he cured of various illnesses and diseases became ill again and died.
Lazarus, whom he raised from the dead, died again.
Christ healed because he is God, and if he has the power to save you, what sickness can he not heal? So all of his miracles were to lead you to believe that he can save you.
Those of you who believe that the Christian message is all about miracles and healings have been duped.
Those of you who rush to churches because their advertisements depict wheelchairs, women giving birth or carrying babies, and other such images should be aware that a church is not a hospital. Even your so-called minister, who claims to be the healer, has a private doctor. Check it out!
All of those abuses are caused by your country’s economic situation. You won’t see any of those when you have good healthcare.
