Georges Hobeika Fall-Winter 2023 Ready To Wear Collection

Georges Hobeika Ready-to-wear FW 2023/24 Collection brought a different aspect of fashion to the limelight; mixture of cotton, silk, shimmers and see-through creates magic! as the creative director, Jad Hobeika created some impressive designs which left audience present in awe.

Two dégradé color schemes play with the changing shades of sunrise and sunset, with a warmer palette of reds, oranges, and greens representing the early morning, and more dramatic purples, blues, and blacks for a crepuscular feel.

Then there was denim, with its first omnipresence for the House, the trademark Hobeika orchid as a key motif, tattoo illusion effects with the shapes of the moon and stars, the rich embroidery that is part of the house’s DNA, the sparkles of interlinked chain necklaces and belts, with glittering vampire fangs featured as earrings, and a slew of other meticulously executed details all beautifully referring to the main theme.

In short, while the collection delves into the rich vocabulary of the vampire world, it also deviates from the usual upbeat references while remaining true to the Maison’s arresting intensity.
