Box office Queen, Funke Akindele is allegedly in a relationship with Afrobeats singer, Moses Agboola better known as Mo Eazy.
Blogger, Cutie Julls brought the relationship into the limelight. While many of her fans are happy that the actress has found love again, sad news ensued; Mo Eazy’s sister is against his relationship with Funke Akindele.
Recall that Funke has been married twice. She was first married to Adeola Kehinde Oloyede in 2013, but they got divorced in May 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
Speaking on her first failed marriage, Funke stated that she was pressured to get married and cautioned young women about rushing into marriage.
She also recounted how when the marriage ended and gained widespread attention on social media, resulting in the loss of endorsement deals and taking a toll on her well-being.
In May 2016, Funke got married to Nigerian rapper, Abdulrasheed Bello better known as JJC Skillz. The union which lasted six years produced a set of twins. They separated in 2023.
Shockingly, JJC Skillz tied the knot with an Ebira woman, identified as Falilat Raji nine months after he separated from Funke.
Speaking of their separation in an interview, Funke revealed that their vision no longer aligned.
She also stated that their dreams and vision of what their marriage should be no longer aligned and all efforts to make it work proved abortive, hence their decision to split.
Despite parting ways, the ex-couples have maintained an amicable relationship for the well-being of their children.
Funke seemingly confirmed her relationship with Mo Eazy after she took to her Instagram page to celebrate the singer’s mother.
She shared a picture of Mo Eazy and his mother and prayed for her to live longer as she expressed love for her.
Funke didn’t just stop at that; she took the comment section of Mo Eazy’s Instagram post to shower him with celebration. The singer had poured out his love for his mother, expressing his gratitude in words that seemed inadequate.
Adding to the conversation, Juliana Olayode, Funke’s mentee, extended birthday wishes to Mo Eazy’s mother.
It is worth noting that Mo Eazy has always been around and a stunch supporter of Funke’s works.
During the premier of ‘The Tribe Called Judah’ Nollywood’s highest grossing movie, Mo Eazy was actively present as her backbone.
