The family of the award-winning Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has announced the funeral plans for their beloved deceased mother, Mrs. Jane Dolap Balogun.
Glamsquad reported that Wizkid’s mother passed away on Friday, August 18th 2023 around 1.30 a.m.
Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s longtime manager, confirmed the sad news to all and sundry.
An online flyer has been shared, detailing the upcoming events for the deceased. There will be a wake-keeping and tribute night on Thursday, October 12, 2023, followed by a funeral service on Friday, October 13, 2023, at RCCG City of David in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Mrs. Jane Dolapo is survived by her husband Alhaji M.O Balogun; her four children, Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji Balogun- Wizkid, and her grandchildren.
