Nigerian disk Jockey, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy was invited by British monarch, King Charles III to a reception at Buckingham Palace in honor of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.
Dj Cuppy took to her X account to share a copy of the invitation.
She shared her excitement about the invitation and announced she is heading to Buckingham Palace.
The inscription on the invitation card read:
“The Master of The King’s Household is commanded by His Majesty to invite Ms Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola to a Reception to be given at Buckingham Palace by The King in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.”
Sharing the photo, she wrote:
“I’m off to Buckingham Palace.”
The Prince’s Trust Awards, is annually to celebrate young people who have overcome challenges and made positive contributions to their communities.
Dj Cuppy who doubles as a philanthropist also serves as a King’s Trust international ambassador.
She presented the Global Sustainability Award to Ridwan, a 27-year-old Nigerian known for his groundbreaking work designing and delivering solar energy systems, especially in off-grid rural areas.
