DJ Cuppy, one of Nigeria’s female Disj Jickey has done the unthinkable as she steps into a new chapter of her life.
Glamsqaud reported that the billionaire heiress celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday 11th November 2023. She stated that she chose peace and simplicity as she celebrated her day with her dogs.
Interestingly, DJ Cuppy received an unexpected birthday message from her billionaire father, Femi Otedola.
He shared a beautiful picture of himself and DJ Cuppy and prayed that God grants her the strength to remain obedient to him and his wife.
“Happy birthday to my angel, May God continue to give you the moral strength to not disobey your parents, lol”
In a new post, DJ Cuppy revealed her decision to let go of the Ferrari Portofino she received as a gift from her father, two years ago.
With Burna Boy’s popular song ‘Igbo and Shayo (Breakfast)’ playing in the background, DJ Cuppy confirmed that she was parting ways with the car for good.
Captioning her post, she wrote:
“Time to grow up”.
It is worth noting that DJ Cuppy is known for her love for pink colour. Aside from owning a pink Ferrari, she rocks pink hair and outfits often.
DJ Cuppy who wished to be married was engaged to British Boxer and YouTuber, Ryan Taylor. However, after a few months of flaunting him, her engagement ring and his family on social media, things went sour between them.
First, they unfollowed each other on social media, followed by a series of cryptic messages on their Instagram pages.
The association of online In-laws first noticed things were cold between DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor; then, the latter broke his silence about their rumour break-up.
Taylor hinted at the cause of the breakup. He stated that if something is blocking one’s spirituality, one should let it go. It could be implying that DJ Cuppy was blocking his spiritual growth, so he cut her off. “If it’s blocking your spiritual growth. Let it go”, he wrote.
On her path, DJ Cuppy bemoaned the fact that, despite everything they once shared, they have now become strangers.
“And after all of this,” she wrote on her Instagram story, “we’ve gone back to being strangers.”
