After more than a decade of marriage, Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth are divorcing, glamsquad reports
The Hollywood actress and the top talent agent married on March 26, 2011, and their first and only child, son Tennessee James Toth, was born in September 2012.
They announced their divorce via Instagram on Friday, March 24, just two days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
“We have some personal information to share… We have made the difficult decision to divorce after much thought and consideration “According to a joint statement posted on Instagram.
“We’ve had so many wonderful years together, and we’re moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we’ve created together.”
They went on to say, “Our top priority as we embark on this new chapter is our son and our entire family. These are never easy issues, and they are extremely personal. We appreciate everyone’s consideration for our family’s privacy at this time.”
