In an interview with CNN, the singer, who recently released a new album, says that his son’s death had an impact on the project.

“We finished the album before my son died.” But it was a tragic situation, and I needed to calm down and step back,” he explained.

The 30-year-old singer attributes his comeback to the overwhelming support he received from his family, friends, and fans.

“No one wants that.” “Davido was referring to his son’s death. “And everyone knows that neither I nor Chioma deserved it.”

“I couldn’t open Instagram for weeks at a time.” I just checked it one day and saw messages from people from all over the world. ‘You’re fine, you see, everybody is rooting for you,’ I said. That was one thing that really helped me get back up, get back in the studio, and do what I love.” He stated to CNN.
