TikTok star and social media personality, Cooper Noriega, passed away on June 9 at the age of 19 and officials identified the cause of death six months after he passed away.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner examined by E! News on December 19, the TikTok star passed away at the age of 19 from the “combined effects” of fentanyl, lorazepam, a sedative frequently used to treat anxiety and seizures, and alprazolam, also known as Xanax.
His case file also noted “recent” use of clonazepam, another sedative typically prescribed as an anxiety and seizure medication, as a significant factor in his death.
It was determined that Cooper’s death was an accident.
The social media star was discovered unconscious on June 9 in a shopping center parking lot outside of Los Angeles. Once they arrived on the scene, the paramedics were unable to revive the young celebrity.
