For weeks now, the issue of rape, sexual assault and violence against women has been trending in Nigeria and Brymo has just waded into the conversation with his latest tweet, which is also a direct response to the sexual assault allegations leveled against him.
Recall that the Nigerian singer made headlines after a Twitter user took to the platorm accusing Brymo of being a rapist. The faceless accuser had shared conservations with an alleged victim of Brymo.
According to the tweet, a female fan paid him a visit in the company of another friend at his residence when he raped her. After the Twitter user made the claims, several others started accusing him of sexual assault.

However, the ‘Yellow’ singer have now responded to the allegations in a string of tweets. “Is Rapist a new word for anyone doing something of note these days ??,” Brymo wrote.
