Hazel Oyeze Onou, alias Whitemoney, an evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, believes Mercy Eke deserved to win the reality show’s N120 million grand prize despite already won the ‘Pepper Dem’ season in 2019.
In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Whitemoney chastised individuals who condemned him and Mercy for competing in the All-Star version despite previously won the competition.
“If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again?” the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition winner added, using a sports analogy. No, you must continue to win.
“Mercy does deserve to win [the N120m grand prize]. If she wins it that’s good for her profile. It’s good for her prestige. It’s good for whatever she is trying to build. So, if she wins it again that would be very nice. No cap.”
