It is indeed a plot twist that Nollywood veteran actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo fondly tagged as ‘Sacrifice’ kicks against money rituals.
In an interview with with Afia TV, Kanayo O Kanayo who is known for ‘ritual’ character in movies stated that he would never get himself involved in money ritual.
The veteran, who is also a renowned lawyer, said he would never take part in occult rituals because they are morally wrong.

During the interview, the father of four stated that due to his famous character, ‘Nnany Sacrifice’ meaning ‘our father in sacrifice’ was mentioned by a party goer at the burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother. However, he rejected it immediately.
He said;
“Money ritual is not good and will never be good. I will never be part of it and have never been part of it. When you hear somebody call me ‘Nnanyi Sacrifice,’ it was just the name somebody called me during Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial.
“One thing about names is that immediately you start rejecting it, it sticks. Call me any name you like, but pay me my cheque. If we listen to the message, we will change the society more. I am just a vessel.”
