Ayo Oritsejafor, ex-CAN president divorces wife after 25 years of marriage

Ayo Oritsejafor, the former president of the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), and his wife Helen are reportedly no longer married after 25 years of marriage, glamsquad reports.

According to reports, the well-known Pentecostal pastor and his wife divorced after a long and acrimonious fight.

Helen, a self-described “Bishop of Godism” based in the Niger Delta, claimed in a WhatsApp message sent earlier in 2022 that her estranged husband wanted her dead, according to reports.

 

According to Bernard, Helen has left the marital home and moved to Britain with the children, and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has returned to the house after being absent for nearly a year.

 

Oritsejafor is the founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State. He was elected national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on February 7, 2005, a position he held for five years.

In July 2010, Oritsejafor was elected president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the body that represents all Nigerian Christians. He did this in order to become the first Pentecostal leader.
