ARE THE DAYS OF DISPOSABLE FASHION OVER?

Not entirely but we can see pointers that they are slowly becoming a thing of the past, as we can tell from Jeremy Hershan’s tote bag collections that reads “Enduring goods”.

Jeremy has said the idea behind his establishment us to make “timeless products that endures”. The products are enduring because they are made from superior quality materials, and are designed to last.

Hershan has worked under some big names in the fashion industry, such as Kris Van Assche, the creative director of Dior Homme, Paris, and thereafter moved to London to work under Gieves and Hawkes.

Working under these designers have instilled in Jeremy an appreciation of quality.

Concerning his time on Savile Row, he says, “It became my driving philosophy as a designer and that’s been with me ever since. That rigour and attention to details and ultimately the quality of craftsmanship was something that I was really inspired by”.

Jeremy was born in Melbourne and studied fashion at RMIT.
