Rapper Common has called on the government of the United States to deliver justice over the case of Oluwatoyin Salau a Nigerian-American who was murdered in the US after she opened up about being sexually assaulted.
The young activist was found dead a few days ago after she went missing a couple of days before. The rapper shared his thoughts on his Twitter pasge and called on the Black community to speak up against the brutality suffered by black women.
“She spent the last days of her life fighting for justice for her people. It shouldn’t be lost on us that Black Women have been at the forefront of these Movements. We have to stand up against violence happening to our Black Women and Girls. God Bless her soul.’
