Mack, best known for playing a teenage Superman’s close buddy on Smallville, pled guilty in 2019 to allegations of duping women into becoming sex slaves for NXIVM leader Keith Raniere.

Allison Mack was freed from prison a year early after serving a three-year sentence for brainwashing and recruiting s3x slaves for NXIVM cult leader Keith Raniere.
According to federal prison records, she began serving a three-year sentence in the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, in September 2021 and was released on Monday.

FCI Dublin is a low-security women’s jail best known for housing actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman in connection with the college admissions scam.

Mack escaped a longer prison sentence by helping with federal investigators in their investigation against Raniere, who was sentenced to 120 years in prison on sex-trafficking charges.

Mack assisted prosecutors in assembling evidence demonstrating how Raniere established a secret society comprised of indoctrinated women who were branded with his initials and forced to have sex with him.

In addition to Mack, the group featured Clare Bronfman, an heiress to the Seagram’s spirits company, and the daughter of ‘Dynasty’ star Catherine Oxenberg.

Mack went on to insult cult leader Raniere and expressed’remorse and guilt’ in federal court in Brooklyn, New York, before her sentencing.

Mack began acting and modelling at the age of four, but her first acting role was on a TV show when she was 15 years old, and she went on to play Chloe Sullivan, a young Clark Kent’s best friend, in Smallville in 2001.

Mack received two Teen Choice Awards and several TV award nominations for the series, which aired from 2001 to 2011. Mack initially attended an NXIVM meeting in 2007 when Smallville was filming.

Prosecutors allege that the secret organisation was made up of brainwashed female’slaves’ who were pressured into having sex with him, adhering to dangerously tight diets, and being branded with his initials.

Around 2016, Mack became a master as well as Raniere’s slave.

Mack claimed that in her involvement in the cult, she received compromising information and photographs of two unidentified women – known as ‘collateral’ inside the group – that she threatened to make public if they did not perform’so-called acts of love.’

Prosecutors also claimed Mack directed victims to “perform labour, take naked photographs, and, in some cases, engage in sex acts with Raniere.”
During an inquiry into NXIVM in 2017, Raniere and Mack were among those who fled to Mexico to try to resurrect the organisation.

In March 2018, he was apprehended at a luxurious property in Puerto Vallarta and deported to the United States.

Mack was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, forced labour conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, sex trafficking conspiracy, sex trafficking, and attempted sex trafficking a few days later in New York.

Mack was ordered to stop communicating with NXIVM members, including her wife and fellow NXIVM member Nicki Clyne, after being released on bond.

Mack filed for divorce in December of last year after the couple married in 2017.
