Davido, a Nigerian music artist, has named Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest footballer of all time, surpassing Lionel Messi.

Davido made another high-profile appearance at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards, following his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
With the emphasis on him, the DMW boss claimed he loves them both, but favors Ronaldo.
“Cristiano for me, you know what outcomes, very, very disciplined,” he remarked.
“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and having that kind of success while also being so disciplined is something I’ve always admired about him.”
“I like them both. But as for me, I’m a Ronaldo fan.”
Messi is favourite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or award for a record-extending eighth time, while Ronaldo has won it seven times and didn’t make the 30-man shortlist this time around.
