Love is beautiful thing to have and enjoy that is if it was with the right person and when the spark is still up and burning.
Although it is normal that the spark vanishes gradually till it exists no more, it is a fact that people can go back to the beginning and start again.
But when either or both of the two adults involved in the relationship decide that whatever the relationship they share can no longer work and isn’t worth the fight anymore, well at this nothing more is expected but for it all to come crashing.
Marriage or relationship crash does not only occur with celebrities’ alone but with so many regular couples on the surface of the earth.
However, celebrities and other public figures get more attention and speculations when their marriages or relationships fail.

1. Mike Adeyemi and Nkechi Blessing: Curvy actress Nkechi Blessing was said to have been jilted by her actor boyfriend Mike Adeyemi on Valentine’s Day 2020, which was the same as her birthday but she came out to deny the reports afterwards, cursing those who want her relationship to fail. A few weeks later, she was flaunting a diamond ring on her snap, hinting on engagement. “I did not have to say much, he proved himself… Just when I tot starting over was hard pure diamond”, she wrote, hinting that the ring was from another man, despite claiming she was still with Mike Adeyemi.
She is however, now claiming to be married to an Ondo State politician and that she has a son. It is a sincere prayer that this love she has found last longer till the end of time.
2. Mercy Eke and Ike Onyema: The duo was set to begin a reality show but only served its fans confusion. They unfollowed each other on social media days after their fellow ex-housemate, Omashola posted a video that suggested that the duo got married and then Ike began moving closer Tacha, who obviously was his bae’s enemy, and was liking the shade posts the disqualified housemates made about his girlfriend. If not day by day, week by week the couple had one thing or the other and finally, the BBNaija winner shared a photo of herself with the caption, “Good morning from Mrs H”, suggesting she is married to someone else (Ike’s surname obviously doesn’t start from H). Then they began to throw subtle shades until their fans and everyone came to the full understanding that they were no longer a thing.
3. Runtown and Adut Akech: Sudanese-Australian model Adut Akech has hinted that her relationship with our Nigeria’s very own singer and songwriter, Douglas Jack Agu, popularly known as Runtown, has hit the rock as she stated that she is single and ready to mingle.
The duo is known to always serve couple goals since they kicked things off in 2020, going on baecation, twinning in ensembles and packing on the PDA. As a matter of fact, Runtown once shared a video of the 21-year-old stylishly flaunting a diamond promise ring he gave her on her finger. Coming out with a story with plenty mystery and questions demanding answers, Adut Akech has now revealed she is now single, and not just single but single and ready to mingle. She made this known while answering questions from her fans via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
“Are you single?”, the question came. “Yes ma’am. Single and ready to mingle or whatever they say. Jokes but yes, I’m single”, she said, adding a hug emoji at the end. In another reply to a question as to if she is happy, Adut Akech said she this is the happiest stage of her life she’s been in a really long time.
4. Iyke and Theresa ‘IykeResa’: Ultimate love couple Theresa Ifeoma Ugorji and Ikenna Nnama popularly called Iykeresa have announced their painful split a few months after they announced their engagement. The couple were the show’s first runner-up and became a fan favourite due to the adorable moment they shared on the show and on social media.
The couple had started their romantic relationship after they were paired together on the Ultimate Love reality tv show in 2019 and a few months ago, Theresa turned the big 25 and her partner decided to make the birthday celebration extra special by putting a ring on it.
Theresa, however, took to Instagram in August to announce that she and Iyke are splitting up and also used the medium to thank their fans for their love and support throughout the years. She appealed to the fans to respect their decisions and also support them as they go on with their lives and career.
5. Fancy Acholonu and Alexx Ekubo: No longer is it a rumour that actor Alexx Ekubo and his fiancee Fancy Acholonu are no more a thing and that there will not be a wedding between them, contrary to their earlier announcement.
Alexx Ekubo and Fancy were said to be currently facing a bad patch in the relationship, as their joint Instagram page, FalexxForever went missing on the social media space and pictures of their engagement are nowhere to be found on Fancy’s page. She has also unfollowed the movie star on Instagram even though he still follows her.
Fancy, however, took to Instagram on Thursday 29th August to clear the rumours and officially announce the engagement call off. Noting that she is aware the call off will come as a shock to a lot of people, Fancy said she made the best decision for herself as it is important that everyone finds his happiness. She then asked that people respect her family’s privacy at this time.
The Imo State actor was supposed to walk down the aisle with the love of his life as he fondly described her to be in November.
