Queen Elizabeth the always elegant and graceful monarch of the United kingdom celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday. Over 900 beacons were lit all over the world and it is reported that she lit the first one herself.
The Queen held attended a private dinner held for her at Windsor Castle, her residential home. The streets of England was crowded with well-wishers who came out to celebrate her. People also took to twitter and other social media to wish the Queen a happy birthday ceremony.
It is understood that US President Barak Obama was in the UK yesterday to join the Queen in her birthday celebration.
