Just in time for the GTB Fashion Weekend, British supermodel, Naomi Campbell returns to Lagos. Earlier this year, she visited Lagos for the Arise Fashion Week which created a huge buzz as she walked for various fashion designers and also purchased from some Nigerian fashion brands.
On the 5th of November, a dinner was held to welcome Naomi Campbell back to Nigeria.
The Los Angeles native and New York based visual artist famed for his Obama portrait, Kehinde Wiley, is also in Lagos and took to instagram to share this photo with the supermodel.
Rumour has it that she would be walking on the runway at GTB Fashion Weekend which has fashion designers such as Ituen Basi, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, Beyonce’s go-to designer Laquan Smith and many more.
Earlier this year, Naomi Campbell expressed her love for Nigeria and how she would love to make an impact in our fashion industry. I suppose her second visit within a year is proof she means it.
