American Rapper, Mac Miller Mocks Donald Trump in New Video

Rapper Mac Miller emerged into the mainstream with 2011 single “Donald Trump,” a middle-finger-swinging banger. But the real-life Trump threatened to sue the rapper for royalties. Now, in a mega-meta move, Miller upped the ante by editing Trump audio and video into a faux-performance of the track that makes it look like the businessman is parodying himself.

The clip features shots of Trump debating himself, dancing to Drake’s “Hotline Bling” on SNL and shouting random words at political rallies. Some lyrics have a new Trump-styled spin, like: “Tell a bitch that she better bring a friend/ We’ll take this country and make it great again.” This Trumped-up “Donald Trump” promotes Miller’s new Best Day Ever mix tape reissue, which follows Miller’s 2015 LP, GO:OD AM.

“The messed up thing is, I don’t even know if [he’s] evil,” Miller said on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore in March.  “I think [he’s] just such an egomaniacal, attention-thirsty, psychopathic, power-hungry, delusional waste of skin and bones that you’ll do, say or allow anything if it means you’ll just get one more minute in the limelight.”
