The year 2024 seems to be pregnant with a series of celebrities airing their dirty linen as usual on social media. Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has continued to drag his estranged first wife, May.
Glamsquad reported that Yul had on Tuesday, 2nd January took many by surprise as he publicly dragged May while he countered her over her post claiming 2023 was her toughest year.
Yul claimed that May had a breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck in 2023 without his consent while pretending to mourn their late son, Kambilichukwu. He also claimed she had a married boyfriend.
Yul further dragged her, claiming she was manipulating the public to bring him down, and pledged that 2024 would mark the end of his silence.
He also asked May to stop with the manipulation as he had had enough.
In a new development, Yul publicly questioned May on why she has refused to drop his name and why she and her family have yet to return the bride price he requested since she had filed for divorce.
“You have filed for divorce. Yet you refused to drop my name.
Return the bride price I paid, you and your family refused.
I have asked for the return of the bride price a couple of times, but you people vehemently refused. I don’t understand why”.
Recall that May and Yul Edochie’s marriage hit the rock after the latter impregnated and tied the knot with his junior colleague, Judy Austin.
The mother of three, who lost her first son on 30th March 2023 later filed for divorce and demanded N100 million from Judy Austin for adultery.
May who has bagged several brand ambassador deals also filed for a restraining order against Yul, denying him access to their former matrimonial home. She cited safety concerns, among others, and had gotten full custody of the kids.
