THE EIGHT FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH EASY TAXI

The Eight Foundation, a non-governmental organization committed to providing confidential care, support and advocacy for victims of sexual violence has officially announced its partnership with Easy Taxi. Easy Taxi is the world’s fastest free taxi app that allows you to easily book a taxi by downloading its free application from your mobile device.

This partnership brings together two organizations who strongly believe in safety, excellence and reliability.

After the announcement of the official launch of The Eight Foundation, concerns were raised about the issues of the foundation’s location (Lekki, Phase one) and the foundation being too far away for some victims who might have the need to visit the center from rural locations. These concerns gave birth to the partnership of The Eight Foundation and Easy Taxi.

Through the foundation, Easy Taxi will provide complimentary rides to victims to and from the foundation.

Before now, Easy Taxi made available to The Eight Foundation, free taxis that conveyed Journalists that came for the organization’s inaugural press conference.

This gesture by Easy Taxi is the first of many initiatives to come and the partnership between these two organizations committed to excellence in their respective fields will go a long way in ending the rape culture in Nigeria.

The Eight Foundation has been acknowledged by experts as one of the fastest growing foundations dedicated to women that suffered from sexual abuse. On the other hand, Easy Taxi has been adjudged to be the best in their field and the awards they have won in recent years shows it to be a taxi company that is on top of their game.

What this partnership means is that the two organizations can leverage on each other platform all in a bid to put an end to the rape scourge in Nigeria.
