In the wake of the success of his chart-topping hit with Selena Gomez, ‘Calm Down,’ the sensational pop artist Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, is actively seeking collaborations with additional American superstar artists.
During a brief interview with the Hollywood Reporter at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Tuesday, Rema explicitly expressed his desire to collaborate with more female celebrities.
He notably mentioned that he’s eager to collaborate with rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion in the near future.
“I’m hoping to meet Meg (Thee Stallion), Nicki Minaj for possible collaborations. Who else? Yeah, I wanna link up with girls dem.”
Glamsquad Magazine reported that Rema surpas Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and more to clinch the inaugural “Best Afrobeats Song” award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, USA, on Tuesday.
