Psy has made history yet again. The South Korean pop star’s “Gangnam Style” video has become the first clip to ever reach 2 billion YouTube views.
“Gangnam Style” reached the milestone this week, less than two years after its July 2012 release. A few months after its debut, it passed the Justin Bieber video “Baby” as YouTube’s most-watched ever, and is still racking up millions of views a month.
Psy’s follow-up, “Gentleman,” has nearly 700 million official views. For what it’s worth, “Baby” has since passed the billion mark.
