One of Africa’s foremost entertainment outfit, Matt Westside has taken a bold move in what appears to be the re-definition of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.
The outfit which upholds the the ideas that talent and creativity are the bedrock of a successful entertainment industry has unveiled a new Reality Television Show tagged – MADE: More than the Music.
The show will serve as a launch pad for talented singers, dancers and producers to showcase their unique talents after undergoing qualitative trainings, mentorship and skill development while in the MADE house.
The winner of the Talent show will emerge after various elimination processes, phases and voting by steaming fans. The winner stands a chance of winning cash and gift prizes in addition to a prospective high level management contract.
Speaking on the initiative, CEO of MADE, Matthew Ebhodaghe told reporters that MADE has a leverage above her contemporaries as a result of the uncompromising values, quality content, continuity, and sustainability on which the organization is founded.
He said; “We started out as a record label with our own artistes and now want more talents in Nigeria and the rest of Africa to benefit.”
According to him, “The show’s target audience is between the age group of 13 – 45 years of age. Auditions will be held across various cities in Nigeria and three other African countries including South Africa, Ghana and Kenya. This will help create buzz and involve target audience from all regions.”
In the same vein, Kanyinsola Doherty, Legal Counsel of Matt Westside said:
“We hope to showcase the beauty of making music and produce and all-star music team. It was born out of the observation that in many cases, past winners of music reality shows are not able to carry on with their success in real life. We observed that only few of them have been able to make it.”
The Reality show boasts of a team of seasoned jurors comprising top industry players, professionals, celebrity musicians, A&R executives and producers who have been consciously selected to groom the contestants into the best they can possibly be and give the world a doze of creativity they have never seen before.
