Keke Palmer breaks silence on comparisons drawn between her and Zendaya’s achievements amid claims she’s a victim of colorism

Glamsquad reports that Keke Palmer, an American actress, has reacted after her accomplishments in the entertainment industry were compared to those of her colleague, Zendaya Coleman.

Many people have pointed out that Zendaya receives more acting roles and earns more money for each one than Keke. Some have accused Zendaya of colorism, claiming that her light skin gives her more opportunities. Others believe Zendaya is a better actress than Keke Palmer.

 

Keke refused to be compared to anyone or painted as a victim of colorism, and she took to Twitter to list her accomplishments.

 

 

“A great example of colorism is believing I can be compared to anyone,” she tweeted. I am the youngest talk show host in history. The first Black woman to star in her own Nickelodeon show, as well as the youngest and first Black Cinderella on Broadway. I have an unrivaled talent. “This is Keke Palmer, baby.”

 

“I’ve been a leading lady since I was 11 years old,” she added. I have over 100 credits and am currently starring in an original screenplay that is the box office number one #NOPE. I’ve had a blessed career so far; I couldn’t ask for anything more, but God continues to amaze me.”
